Castello Di Borghese quietly opened The Annex in January and starting June 1, the new venture will be open seven days a week from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m., according to vineyard co-owner Marco Borghese.

“It’s really an experiment,” Mr. Borghese said. “We are on Route 48 and we thought a presence on Route 25 would be good for us.”
The Annex will have a limited selection of Borghese wines, he added.

The new location is located at 740 Main Road, behind the Esprit de France building.

The Route 25 spot is also the farthest west Main Road tasting room, making it the first many out of town visitors will pass.
