Rough Rider Bourbon, a product of Long Island Spirits in Baiting Hollow, received a nice plug in a recent issue of the New York Times.
The article, which was published in advance of the Kentucky Derby, was about bourbons rise as a popular drink in the United States. At the bottom of the story, the Times published a list of the top value bourbons, which included Rough Rider.
To celebrate, Long Island Spirits then sent out a recipe for Mint Julep. And while the Kentucky Derby might have already passed, we at northforker feel it’s never too late for a good bourbon drink.
