You can order anything from organic rainbow chard to buffalo strip steak on local food delivery website Farm 2 Kitchen Long Island, which launched last year. But what North Fork products do customers really flip for?

Curious — and, okay, perhaps a littler hungry — we asked company founder Kassata Bollman, who lives in Southold, for a roundup of the virtual farmers market’s top five best selling items for the first week of May.

1. Organic fresh juice from The Giving Room Health Food & Juice Bar in Southold

What Ms. Bollman says: “With beach season approaching, people have been purchasing more fresh organic juices. Our customers like the fact that they can hand pick their favorite juices and the amount that benefits their lifestyle.”

2. Organic (mixed: green and purple) asparagus from Sang Lee Farms in Peconic

What Ms. Bollman says: “This is the first week that local asparagus is available in our market and people are beyond excited. Our customers enjoy this asparagus from Sang Lee Farms because it is local, organic and colorful. We offer mixed bunches of purple and green asparagus.

What Ms. Bollman says: “We offer three types of local mushrooms year-round and people love them. Many of our customers combine shiitake mushrooms and homemade fettuccine that we offer from The Cheese Emporium & Cafe by Bruce & Son.”

4. Chèvre from Catapano Dairy Farm in Cutchogue

What Ms. Bollman says: “After a long cold winter without local chèvre, Catapano is open again and cheese lovers are happy. Our customers seem to enjoy the trio container, which contains three herb, lemon pepper, and plain chèvre.”

What Ms. Bollman says: “Fluke season just kicked off and our customers have been waiting for this local fish. This week we swapped out our local winter offering for this spring favorite. We’ll add additional spring seafood offerings in the coming weeks.”
