Visitors to the Lieb Cellars tasting room on Cox Neck lane in Mattituck will notice something different when they return for tastings this summer. And the changes start with the name on the outside of the building.

The tasting room will be rebranded as The Tasting Group when it reopens at noon Saturday. It will serve as a collective tasting room for Lieb’s Bridge Lane wines as well as a select group of wine brands produced at Premium Wine Group, all of which do not currently have their own North Fork tasting rooms, according to a press release from Lieb Cellars.

The following seven wines will be poured at the space:

Bridge Lane Wine

Suhru Wines

T’Jara Vineyards

Influence Wines

Leo Family Cellars

Bouké Wines

Brooklyn Oenology

The wines at The Tasting Group will be offered at $3 per taste and at varying prices by the glass and bottle, Lieb said. Wine Club memberships to The Tasting Group will also will available, with three deliveries per year consisting of one bottle from each of the seven producers.

“This is an exciting, growing year for Lieb Cellars,” said general manager Ami Opisso. “In addition to new branding and packaging initiatives, and a new tasting room in East Hampton, we’re thrilled to re-open our Mattituck space as a collective tasting room.”

The Tasting Group will be open Thursday-Sunday in May from 12 to 7 p.m. and seven days per week from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
