With temperatures in the mid-50s for the first time this decade – or so it feels — Saturday was a great day to spend on the Peconic Riverfront Saturday.
And with the farmer’s market open, lots of people did.
But it was an old wooden man who spends his days on the river rain or shine, who made the cut for our Sunday Scene this week.
And of course I snapped a photo of the sea gull on the pylon next to him while I was at it. Unfortunately, the temperature is not expected to get out of the 30s today, but at least for one day, it felt like spring again.
