The first-ever St. Patrick’s Day parade in Jamesport was held Saturday afternoon.
Hundreds of people lined Main Road in Jamesport, as the parade made its way from Washington Avenue to the firehouse on Manor Lane.

Grand Marshal Jack Cuddy, a founding member of the New York Police Department’s Emerald Society, smiled and waved as his car made its way past cheering crowds.

Jack’s son John Cuddy, along with Sean O’Neil, Walter Magee, Brandon Hewes and Richie Stephenson, formed the East End Emerald Society just over the past month to organize a parade for this year.
