Love Lane Kitchen is partnering with chef Gerry Hayden of North Fork Table & Inn to host a special fundraising event to benefit students in Guatemala.

Love Lane Kitchen manager Jazmin Carrillo recently founded the nonprofit group Programa Sueños, which means Dreams Program, in order to help to benefit poor students living San Antonio el Angel, Guatemala. Ms. Carrillo, 24, is a 2007 Riverhead High School graduate whose family moved from Guatemala to the United States 10 years ago.

The cocktail party includes a fundraiser auction. Guests will enjoy passed hors d’ouevres, local wine and beer, including Greenport Harbor Brewing.

The event will take place 6 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 27, at Love Lane Kitchen in Mattituck.

Tickets cost $100 per person and must be purchased in advance online at programasuenos.com/Fundraiser/.
