Love Lane retailer Altman’s Needle & Fiber Arts will host a trunk show featuring its exclusive collection of Evy Leonard handcrafted crocheted blankets Dec. 7 and 8.
Ms. Leonard, a lauded fiber artist and instructor whose work puts a modern twist on the traditional Granny Square crochet pattern. Each of her soft-to-the-touch blankets are designed with a color theme drawn from her large collection of hand-dyed solid and variegated sock-weight wool yarns.
Trunk show hours are Dec. 7 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Dec. 8 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Visitors are invited to meet Ms. Leonard and enjoy refreshments Dec. 8 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
