• An exhibit of artwork by Mattituck artist Patricia Feiler will open with a reception at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 3, at North Fork Community Theatre in Mattituck. The reception precedes the opening performance of the theater’s annual Variety Show, which raises funds for its scholarship fund.
• ‘Whimsical Fish of Long Island,’ carvings by Mark Vosburgh, will be on display Jan. 1 to 31 at Mattituck-Laurel Library. The works are “a fanciful misrepresentation of species of fish that have never [been] and will never be seen … anywhere in the world,” according to a press release.
• Mattituck-Laurel Library will host ‘Three Voices: A Collaborative Concert’ at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 5. The program will feature music, improvisation and poetry by Jeannie Woelker, George Cork Maul and Billy Hands.
• Call for artists: Northeast Stage seeks visual artists to create masks for a silent auction that will be part of a 30th anniversary masquerade gala and fundraiser on Friday, Jan. 10, at Brecknock Hall in Greenport.
