• An exhibit of artwork by Mattituck artist Patricia Feiler will open with a reception at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 3, at North Fork Community Theatre in Mattituck. The reception precedes the opening performance of the theater’s annual Variety Show, which raises funds for its scholarship fund.

• ‘Whimsical Fish of Long Island,’ carvings by Mark Vosburgh, will be on display Jan. 1 to 31 at Mattituck-Laurel Library. The works are “a fanciful misrepresentation of species of fish that have never [been] and will never be seen … anywhere in the world,” according to a press release.

• Mattituck-Laurel Library will host ‘Three Voices: A Collaborative Concert’ at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 5. The program will feature music, improvisation and poetry by Jeannie Woelker, George Cork Maul and Billy Hands.

• Call for artists: Northeast Stage seeks visual artists to create masks for a silent auction that will be part of a 30th anniversary masquerade gala and fundraiser on Friday, Jan. 10, at Brecknock Hall in Greenport. Submission deadline is noon Friday, Jan. 3. Artists will receive 50 percent of proceeds raised by masks. Contact Cate Clifford at 646-275-0152.
