If you’re one of the countless people who can’t seem to get enough bacon, you’ll want to try the BLT Bloody Mary at Bruce’s Cheese Emporium in Greenport.
A tasty twist on the classic breakfast cocktail, Bruce’s BLT Bloody Mary is made with sake, heirloom tomatoes, and horseradish from Schmitt Family Farm in Riverhead, then poured into a mason jar and garnished with a wedge of romaine lettuce and two generous slices of the café’s famous brown-sugar glazed bacon.
“People love it,” said Scott Bollman, the owner and chef at Bruce’s Cheese Emporium. “We’re known for our bacon so it’s only right to make a drink with it.”
