If you missed NBC’s live production of “The Sound of Music, Live!” starring Carrie Underwood earlier this month, don’t fret: two of the young actors in the show, including Southold native Ella Watts-Gorman, will perform the song “Edelweiss” Jan. 5 at the North Fork Community Theatre Variety Show.

Ella, who played Louisa von Trapp in “The Sound of Music, Live!,” will be joined onstage Sunday by Michael Nigro, a New Jersey teen who acted alongside her as Friedrich von Trapp.

The 10th annual NFCT Variety Show takes place at 8 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 3 and Saturday, Jan. 4. Sunday’s performance, where Ella and Michael will sing, starts at 2:30 p.m.

For the past decade, the NFCT Variety Show has raised money for scholarships that are presented each year to six local high school students.

Tickets cost $10 and can only be purchased at the door. Seating is first come first serve. For more information, call 917-334-6639 or email [email protected].
