• A program on ‘Facebook Business Pages for Artists’ will be presented by social media specialist Hal Fickett at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8, at Alex Ferrone Photography Gallery & Studio in Cutchogue. • Tapestries and pastels by Greenport artist Sherry Schreiber are on view through December at Syosset Public Library. A reception will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14. Ms. Schreiber is a master weaver and a member of the Pastel Society of America.

Old Town Arts & Crafts Guild in Cutchogue will hold a holiday open house from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8. The event will include a Chinese auction, 50/50 raffle and light refreshments.

• The third annual Wooden Wonderland, a woodcarvers’ holiday show and sale, will be offered Saturday, Dec. 7, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Suffolk County Historical Society in Riverhead. The event will include carving and woodworking demonstrations by Long Island craftspeople.

• Work by three North Fork photographers — Steven Schrieber, Paul Dempsey and Mary Trentalange — is part of a holiday exhibition by the East End Photographers Group in Quogue Library’s art gallery through Jan. 2. An opening reception is set for 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7. The show, titled “11×14,” features small works using traditional, digital and alternative photographic processes.
