The Polar Express has been a classic Christmas favorite for many children. The magical story will come to life on board the North Fork Trolley starting Nov. 29 and running through Dec. 24 (on select days).

The trolley will pick up children and family (who are encouraged to wear pajamas) at The All Star bowling alley in Riverhead and take them on a 70-75 minute tour with a special reading of The Polar Express, including a stop at the North Pole (Hallockville Museum Farm) where children will meet Santa and his elves as they are presented with their first gift of the season (a silver bell). Cocoa and cookies will be also served and passengers should bring their own cameras for photos.

The conductor will then lead all in singing Christmas carols on the ride back to The All Star.

Tickets are available online for $31 per child and $36 per adult.
