“An Intersection of Metals I” photograph by Jim Sabiston

A new photography exhibit is now on display at the Alex Ferrone Photography Gallery in Cutchogue. “Lines” features works by Jim Sabiston and Alex Vignoli, both award-winning photographers. The exhibit opened Sept. 27 and runs through November 3.  There will be a gallery talk with both photographers on October 20 at 10am.

Self-taught artist and freelance photographer Jim Sabiston’s Zen-influenced photographic realism is diverse and not easily categorized. He has received awards from National Geographic Explorer, the Adirondack Mountain Club and the Islip Arts Council.

Born in Brazil and now working from his studio on the East End, Alex Vignoli has more than 20 years experience working in the visual arts. In addition to photography, he also works in the mediums of digital collage, painting, illustration, art objects and sculpture.
