Made with fresh ground beef, the marinated Tavern Burger is topped with a combination of Monterey Jack and cheddar cheese, and sliced hot peppers. It is served up thick and juicy with a side of fries or house-cooked potato chips and coleslaw.
Owner Eric Russell says his family recipe inspired the Tavern Burger.
“When I cook, I put hot peppers on everything. My wife and I marinate our burgers at home so when we opened, we put it on the menu,” he said. “It has become a very popular item.”
