During the 24th Annual Maritime Festival, Greenport’s waterfront and Mitchell Park will once again be filled with boats of all sizes including schooners, ketches, sloops and powerboats, as well as classic boats, small boats and iceboats.

Two dozen or more hand-crafted beauties will be on display in a celebration of seagoing style. From the impressive gaff-rigged iceboats of another era (1880 and 1908), to a number of sleek varnished kayaks and pulling boats, these small craft and their owners are a special breed.

All the boats hail from the East End. Many of the exhibitors are professional boat builders and restorers. Others are private owners who are just plain lovers of art on the water. A 200-foot floating dock on the Mitchell Park waterfront will put larger classic boats on display.

Flags flying from the rigging of sailing ships and varnish gleaming on sleek speedboats will create a spectacle on Greenport’s waterfront!
