September is the official kickoff to harvest season on the North Fork and what better way to celebrate than a wine and food pairing at Noah’s Winemakers Dinner Series?

Starting this Sunday (Sept. 8) the popular Greenport eatery will serve up a five-course tasting menu paired with samples of wines chosen by a local winemaker.

The delicious combination is rounded out with the winemaker on hand to discuss the pairings throughout the meal. The dinners will be held in the private dining room and á la carte dinner service will also be available in the main dining room.

The dinner on September 8 will feature winemaker Anthony Nappa and offer quite the tasting menu:

—Amuse Bouche Roasted Local Beet Salad Warm Catapano Goat Cheese, Cracked Hazelnuts, Wild Arugula (2012 Blissful Rosé).

—Lathams Late Harvest Corn Soup Charred Corn, Chili Oil, Popcorn Shoots (2012 Sciardonne Chardonnay).
