Is there a better combination than wine, beer, oysters and Grateful Dead music on a summer afternoon on the North Fork? At Jamesport Vineyards’ Wine, Beer and Oysterfest on Sunday August 25 you’ll get all that plus some wood fired pizza!
The event, hosted by Jamesport Vineyards and Greenport Harbor Brewing Company, is a showcase of the region’s best wines, craft beers and local oysters.
The oyster bar and the pizza oven overlook at beautiful green lawn for you to bring a blanket or chair and relax to the jams of Grateful Dead cover band Reckoning.
The group is known for their passionate and spirited covers of classic Dead tunes, mixing in some Phish, with possibly an Allmans or an original tune sprinkled in.
It’s an all ages show, so feel free to bring the whole family.
Wine, Beer and Oysterfest is Sunday, Aug. 25 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Jamesport Vineyards, located at 1216 Main Rd. in Jamesport.
Tickets are $15 per person, which includes a complimentary drink.
No outside food or drink is permitted on the premises.
