Paumanok Vineyards is turning 30 this year and the celebration continues late into the summer with a annual lamb feast.
As part of the Third Annual ilili Lamb Roast, Paumanok Vineyards will serve up a gourmet barbeque to be enjoyed outside by the vines on Tuesday August 20.
The menu features a wide variety of appetizers and desserts. The main entrées that will be the roasted whole lamb shoulder, sumac, aleppo pepper, charcoal grilled long island duck, fig garlic, pistachio tahini lamb tongue kebab, thyme and pickled ramp gribiche.
Paumanok will also be partnering with a familiar face, Phillipe Massoud, the executive chef and owner of ilili in New York City, the nephew of Charles Massoud, the vineyard’s owner. Phillipe and his team of chefs will prepare the meal.
