A chance to sample 55 different tomatoes at once

The Hallockville Museum Farm in Riverhead hosted a tomato tasting at the Naugles Barn Sunday afternoon.

It was standing room only as Invincible Summer Farms owner Steph Gaylor gave a short lecture on the history and importance of growing heirloom tomatoes and then took questions from the audience.

Guests were offered tastings of 55 different varieties of tomatoes, just some of the 350 different kinds grown at the Southold farm.
