The Greek Orthodox Church is bringing some authentic Greek culture to the North Fork.

All weekend, from July 26 to 28, get ready to yell “opa!” and do all things Greek. The festival has music, dancing, a flea market and, of course, food.

Greek delicacies to be served include arni souvlas (BBQ lamb), kontosouvli (roasted lamb), souvlaki kota (chicken), pastitsio (sort of like lasagna), moussaka (eggplant), Greek pastries, and more.

On Friday, July 26, the festival will take place from 4 p.m. to 11p.m.

On Saturday, July 27, it will be from 12 noon to midnight, and there will be live music.

On Sunday, July 28, it will be from 12 noon to 7 p.m.

The Transfiguration of Christ Greek Orthodox Church is located at 1950 Breakwater Road in Mattituck.
