A little rain did not stop visitors from filling Love Lane Saturday afternoon for the 36th annual Old Fashioned Street Fair hosted by the Mattituck Chamber of Commerce.

Art, jewelry and knick-knack venders set up shop as a band played music. Volunteers served up food and refreshments and sold tickets for dozens of raffles donated by local businesses.

Eight-year-old Victoria Witczak of Cutchogue was named Little Miss Mattituck as rain poured down on contestants and spectators.

Tate Foster, 6 of Cutchogue, took home the trophy for Little Mr. Mattituck, saying he wanted to become a marine biologist when he grew up to save the sharks.

Both of the winners said they practiced ahead of time for the question and answer competition – and agreed the pageant was “super fun.”
