The Oysterponds Historical Society is offering up something for all ages with its summer exhibition Highlights from the Collection. The show, designed by curator Bill McNaught, features a selection of the most intriguing gems from the extensive holdings of the Oysterponds Historical Society.

The artifacts reflect more than two centuries of North Fork life and culture and its buildings represent significant examples of local architecture. The diverse collection includes 18th- 19th- and 20th-century furniture, notable maritime paintings, decorative arts, and local tools.

Exhibition opened June 1 and runs through September 22 on Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Oysterponds Historical Society Located at the Janet T. Swanson Gallery, Old Pointe Schoolhouse, Village Lane, Orient.
