Arrows used by Sioux Indian tribe. A U.S. government telescope used during World War II. A 1930’s wind-up toy car made in England.

Those were just some of the treasures on display at Saturday’s Antiques on the Waterfront in downtown Riverhead. The show, which takes place along the Peconic River, featured 50 vendors and experts on hand to make appraisals.

The show is run by Elias Pekale Shows Ltd. of Merrick and is sponsored annually by the Riverhead Business Improvement District.
