Paumanok Vineyards offer oysters fresh from Peconic Bay shucked on the deck every Saturday from 2 to 5 p.m. throughout the summer.

Charles Massoud said dry white wines like chenin blanc and sauvignon blanc complement the shellfish’s flavors.

“We have wines that go really well with oysters,” he said.

No reservations are necessary unless you are a group of eight or more people or if you are planning on arriving in a limo, bus or van.
