This Sunday, June 23, calls for sunshine and balmy temperatures, perfect weather for the free WPPB Art Show at Mitchell Park in Greenport.

The art show was originally set for Saturday, June 8 but was canceled due to inclement weather and rescheduled for this weekend.

From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. stroll through the park and celebrate local artists and galleries that have their artwork on display. Individual artist booths will sit along the park’s paths and a larger main tent will be placed in the amphitheater for artists without their own tents.

Some of the artists and galleries showing include Hector deCordova, Bryan Landsberg, Barbara Bilotta, Jim Sabiston, Anna Franklin, Dave Burns, The South Street Gallery and more. There will be art in all different mediums displayed from both new and established artists and galleries alike.

WPPB, the local public radio in Peconic (station 88.3 FM) will host the show that will be a yearly tradition.

The station will broadcast live from the show and radio host Bonnie Grice will interview artists, sponsors and guests in the park throughout the day.

The event is generously sponsored by local businesses.
