If you’re in search of something fun to do this weekend in Greenport, why not head over to the Square?

A culmination of all the North Fork has to offer, The Square is the brainchild of Former White House sous chef Keith Luce, who grew up on the East End. The Square is home to MAIN restaurant & oyster bar and two artisanal food shops – NOSH and PREP. The fourth side of The Square,  MEET, is set to open soon and will feature  wine tasting and storeroom with local wines, beers, and spirits. MEET will also sell prepared items, ingredients, kitchen and home goods.

Already established as a place to enjoy local fare, The Square is quickly becoming a local hot spot for entertainment as well.

On Saturday, June 15, the folk and pop rock duo Chris and Eddie will perform in the Square at 4 p.m. Formed in 2007, the local band is best known for its eclectic mix of hits along with some of Eddie’s original compositions.

This weekend MAIN will host musician Bryce Larsen. With a unique blend of rock and R&B styles, Larsen is famous for his rhythm-oriented guitar. The singer/songwriter has previously been featured on “American Idol.” Larsen will perform on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 16 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The Square is located historic Stirling Square at 300 Main Street in Greenport.
