It’s got all the fresh fruits and veggies you would expect from a farmers market, with the added flavor of homemade crafts and unique products made by local artists.

The 2013 Riverfront Crafts and Farmers Market in Downtown Riverhead, sponsored by the Riverhead Business Improvement District, will be held every Saturday from June 1 to October 12 from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the Riverfront. The mission is to provide local food growers and craft producers an effective direct market sales site, and to provide consumers with a source for local, fresh produce, fresh seafood and art.

Interested craftspeople, farmers, fisheries, artists can apply for a Season Pass, which allows exclusive access to special BID events including exhibiting on Main Street, a Vendor’s Pass which allows for four market days throughout the season, or a Day Pass. For more information, please contact President of the BID Ray Pickersgill at [email protected] or call (631) 727-3200.
