Whenever you take a trip, there’s always one member of the family who’s hard to leave behind—your pet. Good news, one North Fork hotel is rolling out the welcome for your dog or cat.
Hotel Indigo East End in Riverhead allows guests to bring their (leashed) pet anywhere on the premises except the pool or restaurant. One pet is allowed per room for an extra $50 on top of your stay. The only other rules are the pet must be crated if left in the room alone and owners are responsible for any damage that may occur.
Hotel Indigo invites guests to post photos of their pets on the hotel’s facebook page. Some may even make it to their hall of fame with Clyde (pictured above). Sorry Clyde, the pool is off limits.
