Food truck favorites are coming to the North Fork in the form of a new Southold café – and you can get your first taste of the delicious offerings this Memorial Day. The owners of Wednesday’s Table, a breakfast and lunch eatery debuting in June, will offer samples of the eatery’s Asian and Mediterranean infused menu outside their Route 25 storefront (in the former location of the Piping Plover Café) during Monday’s parade.

Bite-sized versions of Belgian sugar waffles, Vietnamese Bahn mi sandwiches, shrimp summer rolls and truffle grilled cheese are among the goodies sisters Lena Tanzi and Linh Trieu will be passing out.

“We thought of all the things we enjoy eating and that my kids enjoy eating and then put them on the menu,” Ms. Tanzi said.

Wednesday’s Table is located at 53345 Route 25 in Southold. Check out Thursday’s edition of the Suffolk Times for more on the new café.
