The North Fork Table & Inn is considered by many to be the destination dining spot for the North Fork. The quality of the food served by chef-owners Gerry Hayden and Claudia Fleming is equal to its reputation. But for those who don’t have the time or deep pockets to enjoy an elegant sit-down dinner can cruise in for lunch at the truck out back. Diners order through a window cutout in a wooden mural painted by local artist Rita Rooney and enjoy a picnic atmosphere with lemonade and ice teas. The same quality that makes the restaurant so desirable is matched by the lunch specials (northforker recommends the pulled pork sandwich).
The Lunch Truck is currently open 5 days per week from 11:30am to 3:30pm (closed Tuesday and Wednesday).
