With Memorial Day upon us, the North Fork is ready for the season. Here are two destinations reopening this weekend.

The East End Seaport Museum in Greenport will reopen Friday, May 27

Explore the history of Greenport and its local waters with seasonal exhibits at the museum or take a tour to Long Beach Bar (Bug) Lighthouse. Lighthouse tours start Memorial Day weekend and continue through September.

The Museum will only be open Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. May through June. It will be open every day, except Tuesdays, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. July to Labor Day.

The East End Seaport Museum is located at 103 Third Street in Greenport.

The Old Mill Inn in Mattituck will also reopen on Friday, May 27.

They restaurant has expanded its hours this summer and will now be open every day.  New items on the menu include a seafood bake and a shrimp boil. There will also be more seating on the beach with table service and extra boat slips to accommodate more boats. Check out the restaurant’s $3 Happy Hour, Monday through Friday in the pub and on the beach, serving local craft beer, wine and a cocktail of the week. Plus enjoy live music Friday and Sunday nights in the pub.

The inn will be open every day, except Tuesday, from noon to 9 p.m.

The Old Mill Inn is located at 5775 West Mill Road in Mattituck.
