Garden and history lovers, this house is for you.
A portion of this Peconic Lane home was built in the 1700s while the remainder of the 3,000-square-foot structure was built in the 19th century.
Naturally that means it offers features rarely seen anymore, said listing agent Chris Chapin of Douglas Elliman Real Estate.
This brand new, classic New England-style home offers access to a private beach on the Long Island Sound.
With three bedrooms and three and a half baths, the Peconic home is set on over an acre of land located at the end of the very private road, Blue Horizon.

That’s one way to make friends with your neighbors.
Beginning this Friday, Dec. 16, Sannino Bella Vita Vineyard in Peconic will host “NOFO Neighbor Tastings,” offering free wine tastings and wine education to North Fork residents.
Forever views and privacy are the major selling points of this stunning Peconic post and beam-style traditional home.
Set on a secluded two-and-a-half-acre lot, which includes 340 feet of low bluff frontage on Long Island Sound, this Cabots Wood Road listing is impressive.

Santa’s belly poking through a too-tight T-shirt and a festive Big Foot appeared on some of our favorite getups at the second annual ugly sweater party to benefit Maureen’s Haven homeless outreach program on Friday night.
The event was once again held at Greenport Harbor Brewing Co. in Peconic.
Guests enjoyed food, a four beer tasting flight and an ice cream bar. DJ Michael from East End Entertainment provided the music.
See the festive pics from the party below.
