Blue Canoe Oyster Bar & Grill is hosting its first annual Oyster Roast where you can meet local oyster farmers and taste their fare.  There will be plenty of wine, beer and, of course, oysters to go around. Plus there will be live music from area rock band Second Hands.

The first annual Oyster Roast is from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15 at Blue Canoe, located at 104 Third Street in Greenport.

Tickets are $25 at the door.
