The annual Harvest Gospel concert series is coming to the East End this weekend to bring free music to local residents.

The 70-person Harvest Gospel Choir will perform along with guest soloists at the Mattituck Presbyterian Church Thursday, Nov. 19 at 8 p.m. The following night, they will be at the Hamptons United Methodist Church in Southampton, and on Saturday, Nov. 21 they will sing at the Friendship Baptist Church in Flanders.

East End Arts is hosting the event for its 29th year. First held in 1986, the concert series always falls the weekend before Thanksgiving and has always been directed by Reverend Maryanne McElroy.

“This non-denominational celebration brings together our East End community to share the joy of music from the soul,” a press release promoting the series stated.
