The rain came hard and fast on the North Fork on Friday, Aug. 18, with roads and parking lots quickly flooded during the downpour. But the dramatic gray skies, rain-covered vineyards and lush green fields make for some of the most stunning North Fork scenes.
67 Steps Beach, with its gorgeous sunsets, large boulders and close proximity to Greenport Village, has long been a North Fork favorite. It was even mentioned by the Wall Street Journal last year as an “under-the-radar” beach. (more…)
I’m driving back to Times Review’s Mattituck office with a clamshell of disappearing of blueberries on my lap. I just purchased a pint of Bhavana Berries blueberries from Sang Lee Farms in Peconic and I’m trying to save a few for my husband to sample, but it’s proving difficult. (more…)
