Artist Kara Hoblin created this piece to be raffled off.

Timothy Cox is the lucky winner of our North Fork chalk scene raffle benefitting the SPAT program for Cornell Cooperative Extension Marine Program.

We teamed up with artist Kara Hoblin to raffle off this fall North Fork chalk scene she drew for Northforker TV. Each raffle ticket was $10 and the proceeds go to the SPAT program, which was created to encourage community members to become stewards of their environment and to restore shellfish to the bays.

Out of the more than 200 entries, Timothy won the one-of-a-kind artwork.

We at northforker felt this was a worthy cause and we’re happy to partner with Kara and Cornell to raise money for the program. Congratulations, Timothy. And thanks to all who participated.
