Chef Rosa Ross is hosting a multi-course harvest dinner — and she is opening her East Marion home to her guests.
The Hong Kong-born chef and owner of the former Scrimshaw restaurant in Greenport will host the five-course meal with wine pairings on Saturday, Oct. 28 inside her cottage, which is located next to a lavender field.
“Come enjoy good food, good wine, good friends,” Ross said.
The five-course meal begins at 7 p.m. and is $85 per person.
The menu features gingered butternut squash soup, crudo of local flounder, pan seared five-spice Crescent Farm duck breast with local vegetable succotash, a salad of local baby beets in a dijon vinaigrette and warm apple cake with crème chantilly.
Call Ross at (646) 234 8837 or email [email protected] for directions and to reserve.
