Northforker is sponsoring the opening night reception for the North Fork TV Festival and you’re invited!

The festival will open at the Greenport Theatre on Thursday, Sept. 7 with a 7 p.m. screening of the pilot Greenport, a comedy which showcases the challenges of a divorced dad raising a son with autism. A panel discussion with the creators will follow.

General admission to the screening is $15 and VIP admission, which includes a ticket to the after party, is $35.

After the screening, head across the street to noah’s where chef Noah Schwartz will prepare a special menu for the shindig, which is presented by northforker.

“All of the menu items focus on locally sourced ingredients, featuring local produce and seafood, chosen to highlight local farms and fisherman that we work with closely,” Schwartz said.

The three-day festival will also feature a lineup of television show premieres, awards and guests, who will include actor Chris Noth of “Law and Order” and “Sex and the City” and Cat Greenleaf, host of “Talk Stoop with Cat Greenleaf.”

Additionally, chef Kyle Romeo of American Beech will prepare dishes at the Oyster Season Kick-Off party (presented by Lido) at Castello di Borghese vineyard on Sept. 8 and James Beard Award-winning chef Galen Zamarra will host the closing reception (presented by the Gersh Talent Agency) on Saturday, Sept. 9 at the recently opened Halyard restaurant in Greenport.
