Harbes Sweet Corn Festival

This annual celebration features a corn-eating contest, live music, and family-friendly activities. The festival is free, although there is a fee to enter Harbes Barnyard Adventure. The festival runs from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 22 and Sunday, July 23.

Sparkling Pointe’s Carnaval Celebration

Rio de Janeiro will meet the North Fork this weekend when Sparkling Pointe in Southold celebrates its 8th annual Carnaval.

The event runs Saturday, July 22 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Live music will be provided by Bossa Nova Band and there will be Brazilian drummers, dancers and “samba queens.”

Tickets are $20 and include a glass of sparkling wine and a keepsake flute. Additional wine and food are sold separately.

Bug Light Cruise

This family-friendly, 2-hour excursion include a round-trip cruise, narrated tour and time to explore the iconic Long Beach Bar “Bug” Lighthouse. The tour leaves from the East End Seaport Museum in Greenport and runs from 4 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, July 22. Tickets are $39 for adults and $19 for youths and can be purchased here.

Sunday Jazz at Ram’s Head Inn
