Why not hop aboard a 14-person bike and drink and pedal your way into spring?

Brew Crew Cycles, the company which offers our favorite way to visit Riverhead’s breweries, is returning for a third season with tours resuming Saturday, April 1.

During the two and a half hour bike tour participants will visit three Riverhead breweries and bars including Moustache Brewing Co., Digger’s Ales and Eats, Crooked Ladder Brewing Co., The Birchwood of Polish Town or Long Ireland Brewing Co.

The company will also host several “Shipyard Takeover Tours” when Birchwood and Digger’s will feature selections from Portland, Maine’s Shipyard Brewing Co.

Renting the bike is $375 during the week or $450 on weekends. Individual tickets are $30 during the week and $35 on weekends. The first 20 people to sign up for this weekend will also get a free gift. Tastings are not included in the price.

Visit brewcrewcycles.com or call (631) 722-1516 to reserve.

In other news, Sang Lee Farms will also reopen for the season on Saturday, April 1. Expect greenhouse-grown spinach, kale, carrots and more.

The farm stand, which sells Sang Lee’s delicious organic produce as well as prepared items like vegetable dips and soups, will be open seven days a week. Find them at 25180 Route 48, Peconic. sangleefarms.com.
