This brand new, classic New England-style home offers access to a private beach on the Long Island Sound.

With three bedrooms and three and a half baths, the Peconic home is set on over an acre of land located at the end of the very private road, Blue Horizon.

One of its most notable features is that it comes equipped with both front- and rear-covered porches.

“Both of the bedrooms in the upstairs open up to a deck with a beautiful view of the sound,” said co-listing agent Eric Martz of Douglas Elliman Real Estate. He holds the listing along with Richard Principi. “It has stainless steel cable railing so it doesn’t interrupt your view. It’s nice.”

All four bedrooms in the 2,350-square-foot house are en-suite and the home is designed with an open floor plan. It also comes equipped with a fireplace, central air conditioning and a detached garage.

The newly constructed home was designed by Jenna Principi, an architect originally from Southold. The interior work is nearly complete, Martz said.

If the 108 feet of private beach access — with a personal stairway leading to the sand — isn’t enough water to entice a potential buyer, the house also comes equipped with a permit to build a 16 foot by 32 foot inground pool as well as an accompanying carriage house. To have those amenities built would cost an additional $300,000.

“It’s a classic New England shingled Cape [Cod-style home,]” Martz said. “It is built as the right size for the perfect getaway.”
