It may be the busiest time of year for Santa Claus, but he has managed to schedule some visits on the North Fork this holiday season. Get your wish list ready and head out to these locations to meet St. Nick!

Santa Day in Mattituck

Meet Santa on Saturday, Dec. 3, at Mattituck Plaza from 10 a.m. to noon.

Start with a free children’s movie at Mattituck Cinemas at 10 a.m., followed by free hot chocolate at Starbucks at 11:30 a.m. Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive via firetruck at 11:45 a.m. Children will get free cookies as they wait to get their picture taken with Santa inside Rite Aid.

Santa visits the Railroad Museum of Long Island

Santa arrives via train at the Railroad Museum of Long Island in Greenport on Saturday, Dec. 3, and Sunday, Dec. 4, at 11:30 a.m. The following weekend he’ll visit the Railroad Museum of Long Island in Riverhead on Dec. 10 and 11.

Santa will hand out gifts to children. There will also be refreshments, plus one Lionel O-Gauge Toy Train Set will be raffled off to one lucky child.

 This event is free. More information is available at rmli.org. The Railroad Museum of Long Island is located at 440 4th Street in Greenport and 416 N Griffing Avenue in Riverhead.
