Head down to Strong’s Marine in Mattituck this Saturday, Sept. 3 for the final concert in the “Sounds of Summer Music Series.”
The country and classic rock band Southbound will perform during the event, which runs from 4 to 8 p.m.
Enjoy the live music set against the backdrop of Mattituck Inlet.
“You’re at the water club which is completely surrounded by the inlet to Long Island Sound,” said Strong’s Marine marketing manager Marisa Morgillo. “The band is literally playing in front of the water.”
About 400 to 500 people usually turn out for the concerts in the series, which is now in its fourth year.
Admission is free and the event is rain or shine. Food and drink will be available for purchase from the nearby Pace’s Dockside restaurant.
Bring your own blanket or chairs. Outside food and drinks are also welcome.
