Chef Noah Schwartz will once again take his New American cuisine to the James Beard House in Manhattan this fall.

Schwartz, who owns Noah’s on Front Street in Greenport, will prepare a multi-course lunch dubbed “Return To The North Fork” on Tuesday, Oct. 25.

We attended Schwartz’ winter feast at the Beard House in 2015 and it was ridiculously good. He will once again make the most of the North Fork’s bounty with fall ingredients like Catapano Dairy Farm goat cheese–stuffed squash blossoms with Orient Organics roasted squash and Satur Farms frisée salad, as well as charred Peconic Bay striped bass crudo with pickled late-season corn and fish–pepper relish.

The meal will be paired with wines from Bedell Cellars, including the Cutchogue winery’s 2014 sauvignon blanc and 2014 First Crush Red.

The event begins at 1 p.m. For reservations, visit The James Beard Foundation’s website or call (212) 627-2308. Tickets are $135 for James Beard Foundation members and $175 for the general public.

To be accepted to cook a dinner, or rather, perform, at the James Beard House, a chef must meet strict criteria. He or she must have a regional reputation, be known for their use of local or high-quality ingredients, submit a menu for vetting and more. There is also a substantial financial commitment on the part of the chefs, who must provide their own ingredients.

Proceeds from the dinner benefit the nonprofit, which has disbursed more than $5 million in scholarships since 1991.
