Pour Le Boire, the North Fork’s newest cocktail truck, is making its debut this weekend.

The 1953 Chevrolet truck was spotted in Southampton last summer by Michael Cifarelli and his brother, David. Out of the need to do something creative for Michael’s upcoming wedding, the duo put their heads together and joined forces with Jamesport Manor Inn owner Matt Kar. Together, they turned the vintage truck into an on-the-go cocktail bar with culinary offerings.

“We made this truck 100 percent from the ground up,” Michael Cifarelli said. “The truck will be at my own wedding and will be available for anyone to book for cocktail parties, weddings, summer and fall events, etc., while the weather is still nice.”

Michael’s fiancée has been learning French and came up with the name “Pour Le Boire,” which translates to “for the drinking.” They loved it and decided to go with it.

“The truck was built from core 10 steel and industrial metal that rusts into a rustic orange color giving our truck a very unique look and feel,” Michael said. “We also used reclaimed barn wood and old city brick that we sourced from David’s design company, ‘Dirt Const,’ based on New Suffolk Road in Cutchogue. That’s where we designed and built the truck.”

The Jamesport Manor Inn is hosting a launch party for Pour Le Boire from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m Sunday at 370 Manor Lane in Jamesport.
