Five Long Island wineries were recently featured in a Time magazine piece on the best inexpensive rosés for summer.

Long Island Wine Council marketing director Ali Tuthill is featured in the piece and she gave her picks for local rosés on a budget, selecting five bottles for under $20. Tuthill called rosé suitable for any event.

“Moderate in alcohol, bright and fresh, the wine lends well to happy, outdoor occasions with family and friends,” she said.

See which five local wineries made the list at time.com.

And remember, supply is short for local rosé, so strike now while the bottles are pink. On Saturday, four local wineries are planning the North Fork’s first rosé crawl.
