St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Come see the Irish spirit at the annual Jamesport St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Saturday, March 19 beginning at 2 p.m.

Hosted by the East End Emerald Society, the parade will start on Washington Avenue and end at the Jamesport Fire Department. The Grand Marshal is former fire Chief Sean McCabe. Come see fire engines, floats, vintage cars and pipe bands.

In-Water Boat Show and Demo Weekend

Port of Egypt will host its 70th Annual Boat Show & Demo Weekend Saturday, March 19 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, March 20 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Enjoy sea trials all day, demos on boat docking, attend lectures on fishing, compete in a casting contest and enter to win raffles and other prizes all weekend.

The event is free.

National Quilting Day Open House

Learn about quilting at Hallockville Museum Farm on Saturday, March 19 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Celebrate and learn about this classic and traditional folk art, see handmade quilts from museum archives, observe quilters demonstrating their craft, and attend lectures on the handling and care of antique quilts.

The event is free.

Spring Egg Hunts 

The Cutchogue-New Suffolk Library will host an Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 19 at 1 p.m.

The event is free and no registration is required.

An Egg Hunt will also be held at Orient Beach State Park on Saturday, March 19 at 11 a.m.

Enjoy free hot dogs and hot chocolate. Prizes will be awarded. Rain date: Sunday, March 20 at 1 p.m.

Narrow River Singers Concert

The Narrow River Singers will perform at Poquatuck Hall on Saturday, March 19 at 4 p.m.

They will be accompanied by Lea Kendall and vocal coach Emily Davidson and there will be a guest performance by Suede.

There is a suggested donation fee of $15.
