Valentine’s Day is fast approaching, so don’t say you haven’t been warned. Here are 12 ways to celebrate love this year on the North Fork.

Sinatra Love Songs: A Big-Band Valentine at the Suffolk Theater

Enjoy an 18-piece orchestra play Sinatra classics at the Suffolk Theater Thursday, Feb. 12. Doors, bar and restaurant open at 6:30 p.m. and music and dancing begin at 8 p.m.

Wine 102: Wine & Chocolate at Martha Clara Vineyards

Take a Valentine’s Day class on the romantic pairing of wine and chocolate at Martha Clara Vineyards on Saturday, Feb. 13. General admission tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door and the event runs from 1 to 2:30 pm.Wine Club Member tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door.

Valentine’s Day Dinner At C.J.’s American Grill

Have a Valentine’s Day dinner at C.J.’s American Grill on Saturday, Feb. 13. Menu specials will include Osso Bucco, lobster ravioli and chocolate-covered strawberries. There will also be drink specials at the bar.

Valentine’s Breakfast and a Nighttime Pajama Dance Party

Come for a night of dancing in your pajamas at Polish Hall and support Riverhead’s “Move the Animal Shelter” group.

DJ Bob Aldrich of WLNG Radio will spin tunes. Wear your pajamas and come as a single, a couple or a group. The event runs from 6:30 to 11 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13. Tickets can be purchased at  Riverhead Beverage, located at 998 Osborne Avenue in Riverhead.

Tickets are $25 per person in advance and $30 at the door. Only 300 will be sold. Reserve a table of 10 for $250. The night will feature music, a cash bar, dancing and a breakfast buffet dinner.

Be my Valentine Dinner Dance at the East Wind – 7  to 11 p.m.

Dine and dance the night away at East Wind Long Island.  Enjoy a four-hour open bar, dinner, dancing and music by Long Island Sound Entertainment. The event runs from 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13.

Valentine’s Day with Tim “The Ladies Man” Meadows

ChocoVino 

Taste some chocolate and wine at the Long Island Aquarium, where you can enjoy a five-course dinner that includes wine and sweets. The cost is $190 per couple and the event is for those ages 21 and up. The aquarium is located at 431 East Main Street in Riverhead. Hyatt Sweetheart Sleepover Package

Keep the love flowing and spend the night with your sweetheart at the adjacent Hyatt Place Long Island/East End with the Sweetheart Sleepover Package. A $359 fee per couple includes two tickets to ChocoVino (see above), an overnight stay, breakfast and use of the swimming pool and fitness center. Parking is also included. Sparkling Pointe’s Sparkling Wine and Cupcake Pairing

Join Sparkling Pointe vineyards for its annual Valentine’s Day sparkling wine & cupcake pairing on Saturday, Feb. 13; Sunday, Feb. 14; and Monday, Feb. 15. Enjoy three miniature cupcakes by Blondie’s Bake Shop paired with three different Sparkling Pointe wines for $20.

Sweetheart Princess Tea Party 11 a.m.

On Valentine’s Day, take your little princess to the Long Island Aquarium’s Sweetheart Princess Tea Party. Enjoy a formal white glove tea service in the Sea Star Ballroom with finger sandwiches, dancing, singing and sweets. Aquarium admission is not included with this event, but little ones in princess attire can enter at half-price.

Tickets are $29.95 for guests 13 and up and $22.95 for children  3 to 12 and for seniors 62 and older.

A Valentine’s Day concert special: Heart & Soul on Shelter Island

The Shelter Island Friends of Music will present Russian cellist Dmitry Kouzov at the Shelter Island Presbyterian Church on Sunday, Feb. 14, from 3 to 5 p.m. Kouzov will perform music by Bach, Beethoven, Debussy, Tchaikovsky and many more. There will also be a post-concert reception.

Join Slow Food East End for a Valentine’s Day brunch that will include a variety of local brunch delicacies, including oysters.

Tickets are $110 per person for Slow Food members and $125 for non-members. The registration deadline is Feb. 8. The event will be held at the Art of Eating in Amagansett and the price includes food, drinks and gratuities, plus a $10 general donation to Slow Food East End.
