Landlubbers and seafarers take note: “A Land and Sea Greenport Gala” returns this weekend to kick off the annual Greenport Maritime Festival.
Situated on the waterfront at Greenport Yacht Ship Building Co., the gala is a nod to the village’s maritime history. Northforker.com is a proud sponsor of the party, which is a fundraiser for the East End Seaport Museum & Marine Foundation.

Attendees will celebrate the museum and guest of honor Pat Mundus, a local mariner and the owner of East End Charters in Greenport.
The evening will include food from 23 restaurants, libations from three spirits providers, wine from six wineries, a broadcast from WEHM and live and Chinese auctions.
The gala kicks off Friday, Sept. 25, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at 201 Carpenter Street.
Advance tickets are $75 or $65 for EESM members. VIP access is an additional $50. To purchase, go to eastendseaport.org.
VIP tickets include early access tent access for an hour sponsored by Little Creek Oysters and the SPAT program.
